The good thing with the Appleberry’licious is that you can make several versions of it, and they are all divinely refreshing!
For the one on the picture, I used the following ingredients:
Apples, 2 – Royal Gaya
Raspberries, a handful
Blueberries, a handful
Lime, 1
Lemon, 1
Mint (optional)
As far as apples are concerned, you can also use Granny Smith or Jonagold. And for the berries, know yourself out! I love the combination of raspberries and blackberries as well. Create your own mix of colours and flavours!
Procedure
I used organic frozen berries, they make the juice creamier and are easier to keep.
Juice the apples, the lime and lemon, and mint if you decide to go for it – preferably in a slow juicer.
Then, in a blender add the juice and the berries – and a couple of ice cubes if you use fresh berries. Blend until smooth.

Berries are nutritional powerhouses, they are great sources of dietary fibre (a nutrient crucial for a healthy digestive system), they’re packed with antioxidants which boost the memory and have anti-cancer properties.
Apples are also an excellent source of dietary fibre and vitamin C. They reduce stress, improve bowel function, increase appetite, help lower blood cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.
