I am passionate about offering people the best yoga tools to benefit their unique minds and bodies. I wholeheartedly believe that you don’t need the latest trendy fitness programme, the perfect yoga studio, the coolest gear or a bunch of other people around you to spur you on. All you need is one person who shows up for you and meet you where you are.
Not only does yoga help you to align your body, it also allows you to align your thoughts and behaviours so you can experience growth, well-being and fulfilment. Finding the time to practice yoga just a few times per week may be enough to make a noticeable difference when it comes to your mental and physical health. If that seems unrealistic for you at the moment, I can help you set up a 10-minute morning or evening practice, and you'll already feel the difference in your daily life. A shorter practice done on a regular basis is more beneficial than to wait for the day you have a whole hour ahead of you.
Answering your individual needs
In a private setting we get to create the space to help you transform your body and practice. Having private lessons allows you to set specific personal goals whether that be for flexibility, strength, meditation, etc. The session will be adapted to your goals and expectations. And since these classes will be tailored more to your needs, it will allow you to progress faster.
Finding the right balance in your life is important. Each session is likely to be different on a physical and emotional level depending on how you’re feeling that day. We can work on the physical practice and/or I can introduce you to simple breathing and meditation techniques.
Developing your practice
I’ll help you to fully integrate yoga into your life so you have the tools and confidence to practice on your own. I can teach you the basic building blocks that will allow you to quickly start putting together sequences of your own and create a plan for you to confidently start your own home yoga practice. If time is a concern, I can help you set up a 10-minute morning or evening practice, and that's already enough for you to feel the difference in your daily life.
Overcoming health concerns
If you suffer from injuries or have health concerns, it might not be possible to go to a regular yoga class so it's best to have a private yoga lesson. I can then work around the problem and avoid further complications. When I teach a group class, it's not always possible to focus on individual needs or to make sure that the poses will not further injure or strain a particular person. Some conditions like diabetes or heart disease may also require special modifications to the practice.

I’ll guide you through every movement, pose and sequence, and you can ask as many questions as you like. We can take time to discuss, break down or adapt any pose taking into account any injury or discomfort you may have. I’m also available for you beyond our private yoga lesson. You can contact me with questions, observations and thoughts that come up during the week.
