Yoga with Elise
A yoga class described as ‘Hatha’ will typically involve a set of physical postures, the asanas, breathing exercices (pranayama) and mediation. Hatha Yoga is defined as movement that develops strength, flexibility, bodily relaxation, and mental concentration.
The asanas are typically practised more slowly and with more static posture holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class, and then can be modified to make them as easy or as challenging as is suitable for you - your unique body and individual requirements.
Yoga is for everybody – all ages, shapes and sizes, and ability levels.
It can increase flexibility, strengthen muscles and improve posture. Yoga can also bring balance to your body and mind, improve digestion and sleep, and help with your general sense of wellbeing. Hatha yoga can also help you lower your stress levels.
Hatha classes provide an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension, providing a good counterpoint to both busy lifestyles and cardio workouts.
Pranayama refers to breathing exercises which clear the physical and emotional obstacles in our body to free the breath and so the flow of prana - life energy. Regular and sustained practice of Pranayama can supercharge your whole body!
The goal of pranayama is to connect your body and mind. It also supplies your body with oxygen while removing toxins. This is meant to provide healing physiological benefits.
What is Sound Healing?
In short, it’s a practice that uses vibrations (Instrumental-like Tibetan singing bowls and Koshi chimes) in order to relax your mind and body.
Tibetan Singing bowls
A Tibetan singing bowl is a type of bell that vibrates and produces a rich, deep tone when played. Also known as singing bowls or Himalayan bowls, Tibetan singing bowls are said to promote relaxation and offer powerful healing properties. Buddhist monks have long used Tibetan singing bowls in meditation practice.
Sound can have a powerful effect on our emotions. When listening to the sound of the Koshi Chimes, you are likely to experience a state of balance, serenity and peace. The enchanting melodies of these perfectly-tuned wind chimes are a wonderful source of healing sound therapy.
Why try it ?
Sound healing hasn’t been scientifically proven to actually heal anything, although some studies suggest it is beneficial to general well-being. Modern-day life is pretty stressful, and if you’ve tried other ways to relax with little success, this might help. In fact, some people find it less challenging than meditation because the sound keeps their mind occupied, making it easier to enter into deep states of calm.
A journey with Healing through Sound Therapy to recharge your body and mind, leading to a state of serenity, joyfulness, peace and calm.

Who am I ?
My name is Elise Rousse, I’m from Belgium, but I’ve lived in many places across the world. I am a Yoga Teacher, a Well-Being Coach, an Ayurvedic Consultant for lifestyle and nutrition, and Ayurvedic Masseur.
For many years I had a really difficult relationship with food, tremendously struggled with body image and self-esteem, and I couldn’t really live at peace with myself and others. My journey to health and well-being started with the plant-based diet which helped me find a sustainable and healthy way of eating. After healing my body, I found Yoga to heal my mind and soul. Ayurveda came to me a little later as the latest piece of my healing process. Ayurveda is a science of self-healing, the sister science of yoga, it is the ancient Indian art of living a more healthy, wholesome life, through our diets, our routines, and lifestyle practices.
My mission in life, my dharma, is to help you meet your Best Self, to live a more authentic & purer version of yourself and to find balance in your body and mind. Through my well-being coaching sessions, Yoga classes or Ayurvedic Consultations, I empower you to improve your well-being through small, sustainable, healthy diet & lifestyle changes.
